What my couples

Claudia we are going to start sounding like a broken record, but honestly Sue putting
us in touch with you was just the most perfect situation, we could not have picked a
more perfect person to marry us. You absolutely amazed the guests, they loved that
you captured Si's humorous side whilst still keeping my sentimentality, you absolutely
provided the day with structure, and I know we and all our families and Friends will
cherish the ceremony forever.
Who am I? My name is Claudia Bowden and I live in a small pretty village in the Dordogne. I have a good life with my husband of 35 years, my dog Fudge and many friends (French and English). During the last 20 years I have gained a good understanding of the local culture and have revelled in the wonderfully relaxed French lifestyle.

I’d like to tell you why I became a Celebrant. I have the utmost belief that your wedding ceremony is one of the most important days of your lives, a day to be remembered forever, by you, your family and friends; and with my help and knowledge it can be the day you have always dreamed of.

I became a Celebrant with Celebrants in France in 2010, so I have had plenty of experience and I have been privileged to meet some wonderful couples, their families and friends at some wonderful weddings. I am proud to have been a part of their special day at some beautiful venues which I have had the opportunity to visit over and over again.

I would like to say that your wedding day is a monumental event in your lives. It is the moment when you make your promises to each other, and I delight in finding out what you want to say to one another while designing the perfect ceremony to reflect you.

Being your Celebrant also brings me happiness and a deep sense of satisfaction. Happiness to be a part of your special day knowing that it was perfect for you and the satisfaction of designing a unique and personal ceremony making sure it is tailored exactly to you, including you at every step of the way, making sure to express all your thoughts and emotions.

The main thing that all my couples have in common is a desire to experience a personal, unique and memorable ceremony that is not only romantic, but emotionally and spiritually satisfying with a pinch of laughter! And I don’t disappoint them.
