Our most special day in May 2024 in beautiful South West France was made even more special by the wonderful wedding ceremony performed by Helen de Ferrars.
Organising your wedding in another country may seem a bit daunting or relying on luck to some extent, however for us this was never a worry.
From first contact, Helen put our minds completely at ease. Her warm personality and care whilst we organised the ceremony specifically tailored to us made the process seamless.
We actually met face to face for the first time on the day of our wedding, but it felt like meeting a long standing friend.
All of our family and friends commented on how lovely the ceremony was and how it added to our most special day.

Surrounded by family and friends, miles away from home. We all came together to celebrate our union in one of our favorite places in the world, Bordeaux France! Claudia was our marriage officiant, kind words she shared during our ceremony and ensured we started our wedding day on the perfect note! We will forever remember Claudia for sealing our union!

Alan was an amazing Celebrant! We had a chance to meet him and ask questions via video call which was so helpful. He had us fill out questionnaires regarding ourselves and our wedding and we exchanged numerous emails. He was very interested in having a good picture of who we are as people and the way in which we wanted to celebrate our big day. He was very intentional, communicative, outgoing, and professional. Alan's communication was A+ and I can't stress how important that is when you are getting married overseas!
We got married in Pressigny, Franceone of the most rural and remote parts of France. Alan showed up early and stayed late to ensure all of our guests signed our marriage certificate which we had notarized in America. The ceremony that Alan conducted was exactly what we wanted and he described us so well. Alan left us with a thoughtful gift. A bottle of wine to open on our 5 year anniversary! Alan was so genuine, kind, and funny. We all enjoyed our wedding with him as our Celebrant

We were so happy to have Claudia as our wedding officiant. She is a true professional and perfectly understood and adapted to the tone and context of our very small family wedding in the French countryside.
She made the preparations easy and enjoyable in the months before the wedding, and expertly delivered the anecdotes we provided her to read aloud. Multiple guests commented on how eloquent Claudia was in leading the ceremony and breathing life into our story.

Alan was our celebrant for our wedding in France. He was very well prepared and wrote lovely words ahead of the ceremony based on very little information. I was shocked at how much he absorbed from the information we gave to him and it warmed my heart. On the day of the ceremony he was engaging as a celebrant and there were a few pleasant things he factored into the ceremony which we will always remember. The day was perfect and we wouldn’t change a thing – the lovely bottle of wine and ceremony wording are safely stashed away until 5 years time for us to open, that was a really lovely touch!
